Orthoceras Fossil
Orthoceras (“Straighthorn”) were Mollusks, like the squid, were around during the Devonian period of the Paleozoic Era (About 370 million years ago!). These invertebrates were a cone shaped cephalopod that propelled themselves through the water and had a diet that consisted of mostly plankton. The widely known fossil is the remnants of the Orthoceras’ cone shaped shell. Orthoceras fossils stimulate the mind, reduce toxins, promotes relaxation, improves productivity, and helps to understand past life situations.
